We are seeking a Learning Content Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Peachtree Corners, GA.
The Learning Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of learning programs and deliverables according to department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and update learning content
- Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance (QA) of learning deliverables
- Partner with content developers, LMS administrators, and implementation administrators to deploy training content on learning platforms
- Manage and track learning content throughout implementation and translation processes
- Provide regular project status updates to learning and development teams
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during implementation and evaluation
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline implementation processes
- Evaluate learning content using qualitative and quantitative methods to improve instructional design and development
- Bachelor's degree or completion of a relevant certificate or bootcamp
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments
- Experience applying adult learning principles
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and instructional designers
- Experience using instructional design processes, tools, and templates
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to review and approve technical and/or clinical content
- Portfolio or work samples required
- Proficiency with Articulate Rise
- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline
- Proficiency with Camtasia
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management tools
- 1-2 years of experience in a biotechnology or medical device environment
- Degree in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Science, or Engineering
- Experience delivering professional or classroom training
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
