Our customer is a large United States insurance company that is backed by more than 100 years of experience and provides insurance products and services for businesses and professionals in the United States., Canada and Europe. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, they have more than 20 US locations.
Our Customer is seeking a contract Project Coordinator to support their business in the development of ongoing process assessment, evaluation, and improvement to support business initiatives and strategies.
This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities
- Process contracts and purchase orders in Workday
- Coordinate with internal procurement teams to ensure timely processing and resolve delays
- Update project trackers and key systems with status and relevant information
- Analyze business data and provide decision support to help achieve business priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, perform analysis, and develop recommendations
- Collect and synthesize feedback from project team members and subject matter experts
- Prepare reports using internal and external data
- Define process performance measures and develop methods to track performance
- Create project documentation, including project plans, status reports, presentations, meeting minutes, communications, and related materials
- Support the Project Manager with resource coordination, schedule management, project tracking, and administrative activities
- Perform additional project support activities as needed
- BS/BA required
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Workday
- Strong business process modeling and analysis skills
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
- Ability to facilitate meetings of moderate complexity
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
