Our Customer is seeking a
Software Release Manager on a
contract basis to help scale their healthcare business. This role is
remote, but candidates must be willing to come into their Oakland, CA office from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Manage all software releases, including Autonomous Public Roads releases
- Oversee multiple concurrent releases with varying deployment targets and operational use cases
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across AI, software, firmware, hardware, DevOps, and operations teams
- Partner with geographically distributed teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Ensure release readiness, documentation, and compliance with internal processes
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5+ years of release management experience across hardware, firmware, and software environments
- Experience supporting complex systems such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, or similar technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Git
- Strong working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
- Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams with high attention to detail
- Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills
