Senior Tax Accountant (public sector tax accounting)

• Location: Boca Raton, Florida 33431 (local candidates only please)
• Full-time position – In-office (no hybrid / other options available)
• Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 base salary range; bonuses; commission on business brought to Firm; benefits, 401(K) with match and PTO
  
  

Thriving boutique-style Public Accounting Firm located in central Boca Raton, celebrating its 16th anniversary, seeks an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join the team. Ideal candidate will be experienced, friendly, organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. With a big firm mentality but in a small firm / laid back office, the team works collaboratively to provide the best possible personalized service. Managing Partner / Principal of the Firm works closely with all team members and clients.

Senior Tax Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting required (Master’s degree in Accounting a plus)
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant public accounting / tax focused experience
• Knowledge of preparing tax returns, payroll processing and QuickBooks is required
• UltraTax and CaseWare experience is a huge plus
• Paperless environment; selected individual must be comfortable working on and around the computer
